Membership

  1. All Lift Häus Fitness monthly memberships are non contractual. We work on an initial 2 months minimum and then from there a 1 month rolling basis. Once money is taken for the next month period it is final and will have expired by the same date of the next given month. No monies paid are refundable unless under the owners discretion.

  2. Payment date will be on the 1st of every month will reoccur on the same date every month until cancelled. All monthly memberships run on a subscription basis therefore when you sign up you will be automatically billed each month to the same payment details. (this does not apply to the annual, 6 month, 1 month and week pass options as these are 1 time purchase and will not reoccur unless manually re purchased when expired).

  3. All members must be aged 16 or over. If 16/17 you must have gained permission from a parent or guardian.

  4. How to cancel? To cancel your membership with us you need to contact us directly via email on [email protected]. We require one months notice to cancel a membership in time before your next payment, failure to do so could result in another payment being taken which is non-refundable.

  5. If your DD fails on two consecutive payments you will be unable to use this method of payment for your membership. You membership will revert to paying in the club on a one month membership rather than a rolling Direct Debit. Notice period: We require one months clear notice by email for any membership cancellation. If you do not adhere to our terms and conditions you will not be able to train at Lift Haus in the future.

To become a member through Direct Debit, you must commit to a minimum membership period of three months. If you wish to cancel your membership, we require one month’s notice starting from the date of your cancellation.

General

  1. Your capabilities both medically and physically to partake in physical exercise at Lift Häus Fitness is solely your responsibility. If you are concerned or have previous medical conditions we strongly advise you visit your GP prior to physical exercise. We are in no way responsible/liable for any injuries or likewise that occur whilst using the facility. Before using any of the equipment ensure you visually check the equipment for damage or defects to ensure safety.

  2. You must NOT use Lift Häus Fitness if under the influence of alcohol, drugs or likewise, and if suspected to be doing so staff/owner will ask you to leave and your membership may be terminated without any notice by the owner with immediate effect. Monies may/may NOT be returned to you at the managers discretion for breaking the rules outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

  3. Any theft, bullying, violence of any kind and anything likewise determined by the owner will NOT be tolerated and membership will be terminated without any notice if found to be doing so with immediate effect. Monies may/may NOT be returned to you at the managers discretion for breaking the rules outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

  4. Lift Häus Fitness is not responsible for any loss, damage or theft of any personal belongings whilst on the premises. Lockers are provided however are in no way guaranteed by us in any way and are to be used at your own risk. This extends also to the car park which is to be used at your discretion and risk, Lift Häus Fitness holds no responsibility.

  5. All members are responsible for using the equipment correctly and with due care as appropriate, if unsure ask a member of staff.

  6. The gym is always staffed but throughout the day there will be times that its unmanned due to some of the facilities being in other parts of the building and staff predominately lone working.

  7. Personal Trainers at Lift Häus Fitness are self employed and such any agreement/contract, monies and or services are solely between you and the trainer.
